day 3 planet base

this is the third day that we have played Plant Base, so today ill be reviewing this game. At first i thought would be really boring but it actually turned out to be pretty fun. playing the tutorial showed me how fun this game was.

how i played

 i played the game as a conservative player at first, not wanting to spend to much resorces. i placed the oxygen generator first then the solar panel. soon after i put down all the the things for the energy and things for the oxygen i realized that i started needing supplies. by then i had to start playing aggressive and placed a lot of things at once then it took to long to build the building and i started losing power later resulting in my death. 

my goal  

my goal was to make the telescope so that i can make the laser gun. i only got the telescope built and before i got the last pending resorce i would die, i also wanted three milestones and i was able to complete that pretty easily. 

my thought on the game

At first i thought the game was pretty boring. if there is anything that i could change i would change the music and maybe have different levels. i like the look of the game and the feeling that it gives. So in conclusion i think that this game is pretty fun

day 2

first thing you do in the tutorial



first of all you need to build a oxygen chamber along with water and power to get it working. after you build those you need an air lock. You need power , water , dorm , and a canteen. later you'll build a mine and a processing plant to keep your supplies up. also in the tutorial they will tell you to build a medical lab, and a landing pad for more colonist ships to come.

what went wrong?

nothing went wrong , the tutorial was pretty straight forward and explained everything pretty well

 make sure you build the essential stuff ( o2 generator, water extractor, airlock, dorm, canteen. ) first and fast so you don't die. then build whatever you think is necessary. for example, if your using a lot of metal i would build a mine and a metal processor so you don't run out.

PlanetBase is a strategy based game where you have to take a group of people and go to one of four planets

there are many different people with different characters.for example, there is a worker, biologist, engineer, medic, carrier bot, construction bot, and driller bot. you can control all of them.

what do you do in this game?

In PlanetBase you must survive on one of three planets.to survive in this game you will need to collect energy to make your buildings work.you will also need the essentials like water, food, and shelter.certain buildings will do certain things,for example the oxygen generator will generate oxygen.

 what is the goal of this game?

 the goal of this game is to survive to this you must collect energy, extract water, mine metal, grow food, manufacture bots, and build a self efficient base.there is also milestones that you can reach by playing  that allows you to unlock new planets.

The video is about Offical stuff plus playing PlanetBase. he didn't really review the game he just gave his first impression and basics on the game. he explained a lot about the game. he shows how to make buildings, how to get power, how to get water and food.

    what i learned this week

  

       This week i made a car and a fish tank animation in adobe flash. i also learned how to use flash , there are many commands in flash that i have learned. i had to make layers and frames for this assignment. there was also sounds i had to add in as well. I learnt how to make stuff move by creating motion tweens.\

                              

                               F8 = symbol

What I did this week ...

     

     This week I did more photo shopping. This time we used overlaying on our named with different material like metal, animal skins, and nature. we also took three objects which was a car, an animal, and a tree and removed their original background and changed them.

What I learnt this week ...

     This week ! learnt how to overlay different objects. To use overlay you have to  pick pick two objects and the highlight the two objects. After you highlight the objects, were you see the box that says normal on it you click that box. When you click the box there is different blending options, just pick one you like and your done!

What I did this week...

this week i created my dropbox account and then made my blog. we also started photo shopping letters of our names.

what i learnt...

i learnt a few things this week, i learnt how to use my blog and post stuff, i learnt how to use photoshop and some commands for it, and i also learnt how to add background colour to stuff.
